Skin-Soothing Salve
Skin-Soothing Salve
Previously named Healing Salve…
I formulated this Healing Salve to be gentle and soothing on even the most sensitive and inflamed skin. This formula was influenced by a friend whose kid has health issues with side effects from meds that cause severe eczema and psoriasis on her hands. I personally suffer from eczema on my scalp and head, which is a side effect from an immune disorder.
The Healing Salve was formulated to soothe and ease inflammation, relieve discomfort from dry and chapped skin, and provide a layer of protection to aid in healing. The end result is an all around skin soother. My goal was to create something that was allergy safe, as my friend has a nut allergy household. I used oils of olive and avocado to deeply penetrate and nourish the skin, calendula and comfrey to soothe and protect, lavender to soothe pain and aid with healing, and chamomile to help ease inflammation.
Size: 1oz OR 2oz metal tin
Please note that some salves still have the old “healing salve” label. The only thing that has changed is the name of this offering. It is the same formula that has become a favorite, just an updated name.
